Howard has over 25 years of experience as Head of international schools and serves as school director and board member of many international schools. He currently oversees a number of schools including The International School of Macao (TIS), Canadian International School of Phnom Penh (CISP), Lighthouse International School of Phuket and British Columbia International School of Bangkok (BCISB) through Hive Schools International. He founded the Canadian Overseas Schools Association (COSA) and serves as President of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Macau.
Howard travels extensively to support the various schools and can often be found in the classrooms or playground sitting and talking to students because “it’s all about the kids”. As the School Supervisor at Lighthouse, his passion is to celebrate and replicate best educational practices across Asia in order to create the best possible school in Phuket.
In 2022, Howard received his PhD in Education, Management and Technology at Assumption University of Thailand and has a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from The University of Lethbridge.
