Our grade 1 class ventured beyond classroom learning for a small adventure. We made a field trip to the beach which is very close to the Lighthouse International School Campus.
Our Grade 1 students found out about tides, rock pool coverage, and the creatures that can be found in a Phuket Beach. The students explored the beach and observing their surroundings at low tide. They found washed up corals and shells, rock pools with fish, sea slugs and some mussels clinging to the rocks. It was truly an exciting and memorable learning day for sure.
