Lighthouse Primary School located in Rawai, a beautiful part of Phuket. Our school is a family-like community with small class sizes. Students feel they “belong” in a supported and safe environment. Learning is hands-on inspired by Montessori & Waldorf principles with close mentorship between teachers and students infusing strong supported English language skills, academic ability and real creative thinking.

From mapping adventures to examining histories and global connections, learners develop empathy and understanding of diverse perspectives. Children become informed global citizens ready to make positive change in their communities and beyond!

PE

P E really gets kids moving and develops physical skills with wide variety of training exercises, sports and team challenges. Our primary campus features indoor climbing walls, new artifical football pitch and covered sports court area for basketball volleyball and badminton. With healthy competition, children build confidence, teamwork, and resilience. PE isn’t just exercise—it’s where champions are made and friendships flourish.

Arts & Creative

Arts and Creative lessons unleash imagination. Students explore painting, sculpture, music, drama, and dance, transforming ideas into creations. From designing model dioramas, performing on stage to playing musical instruments and choreographing dance movements, learners discover their artistic voice creativity. Through hands-on projects, class presentations, and creative experimentation, children develop confidence, self-expression, and cultural appreciation.

Thai Language

Thai language students at Lighthouse primary develop proficiency in through comprehensive instruction in speaking, reading, and writing. Our curriculum integrates Thai script practice with cultural understanding. Experienced native Thai teachers deliver engaging lessons that build vocabulary, grammar, and conversational skills. Learning Thai enhances students’ cross-cultural competence and deepens their appreciation of Thailand’s rich heritage while living in Phuket.

Globally recognised Canadian Alberta curriculum (Cambridge option at Lighthouse secondary). We bolt on many optional ECA’s (Extra Curricular Activites) to boost ability and fun. We have a strong ELS (English Learning Support) program in and out the normal class hours. Primary learners are taught with Montessori & Waldolf approach with a personal engagement from staff making them feel they “belong”. We share stories of student growth and their personalised educational pathways in newsletters and events. Small class sizes and close mentorship create a supportive, family-like environment where every learner thrives.

All our primary students graduate and most continue to Lighthouse secondary school where they continue to study the globally recognised Alberta Diploma with Cambridge IGCSE option with a greater personalised learning pathway, academic achievement and new campus.

Secondary Graduate To Study Medicene

Lighthouse 2025 graduate Su Qui has been accepted into Melbourne university Australia to study medicene. We are very proud and wish her the very best future.
