
Lighthouse International School is honored to be part of the “Health Buddy @ School” project, led by BDMS Phuket, Bangkok Hospital Phuket, Bangkok Hospital Siriroj, and Dibuk Hospital, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education the 9th of December at Bangkok Hospital Phuket (BDMS).
School leaders from more than 30 educational institutions across Phuket gathered for the official MOU signing ceremony, marking a strong partnership between schools and healthcare professionals to promote holistic student health.
The program aims to:
- Strengthen school health systems
- Promote preventive care and healthy habits among students
- Provide training and support from medical experts
- Build long-term health awareness within school communities
Under this initiative, participating schools—including Lighthouse—will receive:
- CPR & First Aid training for student leaders and school staff
- Health education sessions by doctors, nurses, and nutritionists
- Online medical consultation access through school clinics
- Medication and medical supply discounts
- Free ambulance service when called from the school
- Annual basic health check-ups and developmental screenings for students
This collaboration represents an important step toward creating a healthier, safer, and more supportive learning environment for all students, teachers, and families.
