I am delighted to welcome you as the Headmaster of Lighthouse International School. Our mission is to empower students, help shape futures, and enable students to follow their path. I am excited to embark on this educational journey with each and every one of you.
Innovate Today – Lead Tomorrow
Lighthouse School was established in 2019 and currently enrols 350 students across its campuses. In 2024, the school opened a new secondary division, which is experiencing strong and sustained growth. Lighthouse School offers both the Cambridge and Alberta curricula, delivered through a project based approach that promotes student led learning and authentic application of knowledge. The school achieves consistently strong outcomes, including a 100 percent graduation rate and a number of outstanding university offers for its graduates. A distinctive feature of the school is its emphasis on Business and Entrepreneurship, reflecting the priorities of its parent community, many of whom operate their own enterprises. In addition, the school provides a highly effective English support programme that rapidly develops students’ language proficiency, enabling them to access the full curriculum and achieve academic success.
Business Centre of Excellence
I am proud to introduce our business centre of excellence (COE). Lighthouse is nurturing next generation of leaders, entrepreneurs, engineers, visionaries, tech pioneers, artists, educators and business owners which i believe is an essential skill in today’s economy. Our small class sizes lend themselves to fast paced learning in small teams, where students collaborate to solve problems.
Forefront in adapting our education
The world has changed with an ever growing online economy so we believe we are at the forefront in adapting our education towards project based learning to find, collate and present information. Students enjoy the ownership of project work and the creativity that goes into it. We mesh this project work with traditional education aimed at getting high grades for the Canadian Alberta diploma which is accepted at all universities worldwide.
Small class sizes & dynamic environment
With small class sizes, our students thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments that encourage teamwork, problem solving, and critical thinking. The rise of the online economy means the world has changed, and so have we. Our project-based learning approach equips students with the ability to research, analyse, and present their ideas confidently—skills they will carry into the future.
Strong academic foundation
We seamlessly combine this modern, entrepreneurial focus with a strong academic foundation aimed at achieving high results in the Alberta (Canadian) Diploma Programme. An internationally recognised qualification that ranks in PISA international rankings above nearly all others and is accepted and esteemed by universities worldwide. Combined with the option of Cambridge UK IGCSE the school offers a top English education path.
This year has been tremendously successful. We’ve established positive classroom routines, built strong school structures, and reached significant milestones:
Gaining Cambridge International School accreditation
Achieving Level 3 accreditation with the Alberta provincial government for next year
100% graduation for all our grade 12 students with an Alberta (Canadian) high schooldiploma given by the government of Alberta.
Culture & memories
We share memorable cultural celebrations, with an incredible Christmas show with 90%+ student participation, vibrant Loy Krathong and Songkran festivities, and many more moments that have helped shape our identity as a school.
Our future is bright
We growing fast and developing many facilities expect us to advance, be bigger, brighter, and more impactful as we continue to shine. Thanking everyone in our incredible community for your ongoing support!
