Recently, our young geographers took their learning outside the classroom and into the beautiful outdoors! We explored maps of our local area, focusing especially on a map of our very own school.
The children enjoyed spotting familiar places, identifying key landmarks, and connecting what they saw on the map to the world around them. Taking the lesson outside made everything feel even more exciting — fresh air, nature, and curious minds working together! 
It was a wonderful hands-on lesson, full of discovery, teamwork, and lots of smiles. Well done, Year 2!
