Matthew Jassman

Matthew graduated from the University of Alberta with honors, and holds a Bachelor’s of Secondary Education in math and chemistry. He is a dedicated and reflective teacher committed to creating inclusive, engaging learning environments where all students can succeed. He builds positive relationships through empathy and respect, and sets high expectations while using curriculum-aligned instruction and assessment to support diverse learners. Matthew strives to foster confidence, curiosity, and meaningful learning in every classroom. Matthew has experience teaching in a private special education school as well as one of the largest high schools in Western Canada, providing a variety of skills and pedagogy he brings to his classroom.
